Hacked

As you all can see, Marty has "hacked" into my blog and has been adding his own touch. I guess I'll let it slide...He will be adding more of his own content as it is created. Good thing I let him get that funky new camcorder for his birthday!
I do a pretty good impression of Macee, don't y'all think?
ENJOY!

Macee Potty Time

Macee, you need to pull down your pants before you can use the potty ...

Macee Avoiding Uncle Nick

Here is a video of Macee doing her best to avoid Uncle Nick ...

Abby Imitating Macee

This is Marty ... I am filling in for Abby for today. I finally decided to upload some of the videos I took with my new camcorder, so here they are:

The first one is Abby acting like Macee.

A Night at Nina and Papaw's

Us girls headed up to Brazil yesterday afternoon for the night. We went up to see Granny, but to also have some face time with Nina, Papaw, Adam, Haylee, and Hally! We had a fun, short and sweet visit!
HALLY! She's a little stinker!
It's so fun to see Rylee and Macee interact with Hally and Hally's reception to them!
Macee wit Nina - Macee looks like she is contemplating spitting in Nina's hair!
Nina and the girls. It's hard to get a pic. with all the lil' ones looking...especially when Hally is a stinker and doesn't find me interesting.
Rylee hugging Hally - Hally looks as if she is thinking, "um, NO?"
Nina and Macee were being goofy!
Papaw and his girls - ain't that so sweet?
Papaw and Nina with the girls - we tried a couple times - like I said, it's hard to get a good pic. with lil' ones (although one time Nina was the one not cooperating!)!
Papaw and Macee chillin' together.
A fun time was had by all. We had dinner, visited Granny, showed off the new van, and then the real fun started. Mom, Dad and me took pics. of each other and applied it to their cell phones so that when they call each other their pics pop up and when I call them my picture comes up -don't worry - Daddy has already called from his cell since I've been home to see if it works - I have a pic. of a FedEx truck that is on the screen when I call him or he calls me!

Gimpy Granny

Granny - my Grandma, Mom's Mom - fell on some ice last month and broke her leg in a few places. She had to have a rod and pins put in and has been in a rehab. facility since. Ironic - she used to work at the same Rehabilitation Facility! Anyways, we went up to Brazil yesterday afternoon and went to see her in her "hotel," as we referred to it as!
Rylee and Granny
Granny and Macee - before Granny took her for a ride on her set of wheels :)
Hally slept thru some of the trip to see Granny - no wheelchair rides for her this time!
When I talked to my Dad this evening, he said that the Physical Therapist says that Grandma is doing well enough that she could go home if there is someone that will stay with her and if her house passes a home assesment. That is a possiblity for her this weekend!

Pajama Day!

Rylee's class had a Science unit on Night and Day, Lights and Shadows last week. On Thrusday, they had a Pajama Party at school! Ry chose to wear her ducky jammies and looked super cute!
Ready for bed? NOPE! Ready for school!
Her matching ducky hairbow she wore with her ducky jammies!

A Baseball Birthday for Daddy

We celebrated Marty's 27th birthday last Wednesday! We had a quiet evening at home with pizza, cake, presents, and balloons (the girl's thought Daddy needed balloons for his party)! I made his birthday cake myself - didn't realize that I had a touch of Marta within me!
Happy Birthday Marty!
Marty with his cake and balloons - balloons are TIGERS colors!
27 years old! I thought we'd go with the numbers 2 and 7 instead of putting 27 candles in the cake - didn't want to burn the house down!
The baseball cake - made by moi! Yeah, it's not perfect, but DANG I did a pretty good job for saying I was NEVER going to be so domesticated!
Baseball cupcakes I made to take with us to Michigan the weekend before his birthday - they were practice for the cake, but also a little yummy to share and celebrate with!
They were quite yummy!

Trend Setter

I'm telling you, Vogue and InStyle Magazine are going to be knocking on our door soon! Once they hear of the little fashionista that lives here!
Our little fashion bug with her new shoes and matching handbag!
"BUTT" WAIT! Don't forget the pull-up that goes OVER your leggings!
This style will be seen on everyone soon!
She's so funny and adorable!

The Gary Laritz Family

Gary started a new tradition over the weekend. When we're all together we're going to take a family pic. so that we can see how much we grow! He set up the tripod and we set our camera timers to capture these little moments!

This is the best pic. that we got on our camera, thanks to Martin!
Marty pointing at the camera, trying to get Macee to look!
Marty making a goo face at me - ruining the photo entirely...he is obviously the ONLY one who wasn't looking at the camera!

Special Valentine Candy

Grandpa got the girls fun Valentine glasses filled with pink M&M's for Valentines Day!
Rylee showing off her glass of M&Ms.
As soon as Macee got hers, she spilled them onto the floor. As her and Grandpa were picking them up, she knocked the glass over again! Seriously, Mace!
Finally, they're all back into her cup!
The girls with their candy - on their matching turtles!

BALLOONS!

Grandpa got a helium tank - what fun! We arrived on Thursday evening and there were balloons tied to the stair banister! The girls were so excited! On Friday, they spent time blowing up balloons - one for each of us! They provided for quite some entertainment once they started floating around the room!

Just hanging around with their balloons!
My balloon and I!
Grandpa and girls blowing up balloons - we learned to put LONG strings on Macee's balloons after she let it go and I about busted Grammy's lamp - and my face - trying to get it!
Some of our balloons - I believe the others had floated to the ceiling.
Macee pointing to her balloon that floated up into the skylight.
There it is!

Yeah, I'm a Soccer Mom

We traded our leased Town and Country in for a new Carvan...yeah, I'm staying with the tride and true "soccer mom" vehicle!

Our new 09' Dodge Grand Caravan!
The front end.
The back end
Did you just say "duh" to the last two pics?
Ry checking out the new car - we have Stow n' Go again...YAY!
The girls and Marty checking out the new van!
Macee is standing on the seats - should I have expected anything less?
This is the very first vehicle Marty and I are buying together - all the other ones we've leased! We plan on having this for quite a few years! I LOVE my new soccer mom car!

Valentine Crafts

Aunt Molly came over to Grammy and Grandpa's on Friday to hang out with us. The girl's hung out with her and Grammy while Gary, Marty and I went to get the new van. While we were gone they made fun Valentines Day crafts!

Making beautiful creations!
Macee enjoys stickers!
Ry making one of her masterpieces!
I believe the final product had a lot more stickers - that or she made more than one!
Aunt Molly provided lots of goodies to make all these fun crafts with...you can tell she's a teacher!

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom

Rylee's class has been learing their letters and letter sounds at school. They have incorporated the book, 'Chicka Chicka Boom Boom,' which is just one of Rylee's favorite books - we have 2 copies, one is for the Tag Reader! The kids have made a coconut tree - they make the coconuts on the tree as well as the letters (each one has their first initial) falling from the tree! There are lots of kids whose names start with 'R' as you can see - all of them are girls too! The kiddos have also painted their own trees and covered them in letter stickers.
We're amazed at how much Ry is learning at preschool! She knows ALL of her letters and the sounds that most of them make! She is a smart lil' booger, but we're really impressed with how much they are teaching her!

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Tree outside Ry's classroom!

Friends Day

Thursday was Rylee's 'Friends Day' at preschool! She was so excited to wear her Valentines Day shirt, have a party with her friends, and give each of her friends the goodie bags we made! She got lots of Valentines from her friends and has been showing EVERYONE all of them!
Our little sweet heart!
Macee wore her Valentines Day shirt for Friends Day too!
Best of Friends :)
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

Friends Day Prep

Ry and I spent Tuesday evening working on her Valentines to give to her friends at preschool. She was so excited to write her name on each card! We then put the card into a bag along with other fun goodies for her to pass out to the class at their Friends Day party - also known as Valentines Day!

Rylee and Mommy filling the goodie bags!
Our pile of bags ready to go to our friends!
